You will represent both divisions within this enterprise, Telecom and IT. As part of our expansion plan, LinkPoint seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Hunter with a contagious passion for sales and technology to form an integral part of our team. Sales hunters have the strong prospecting skills required to hunt regularly. They’re capable of reaching decision-makers and ask for introductions. They also have strong qualifying and closing skills.

A hunter is someone who does the following:
  • Prospects daily
  • Keeps his/her sales funnel full
  • Uses a variety of prospecting tools and techniques
  • Is rejection proof
  • Isn’t a perfectionist
  • Isn’t intimidated by decision-makers
  • Consistently maintains a network of contacts
  • Books appointments

Key Areas of Responsibility

New Business
  • Seek out new business/leads
  • Qualify leads (initial meetings, budgets, needs, current Telecom and IT provider woes, etc.)
  • Schedule meetings with Account Managers
  • Work with Account Manager to assess and propose solution
  • Ensure all relevant information is documented
  • Ensure customer management software is updated
  • Meet and/or exceed targets/expectations
  • Market on social media platforms to build personal brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher education is preferred
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in sales
  • Well-developed business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building capabilities
  • Pragmatic, approachable, and comfortable in facilitating win-win outcomes
  • A daily focus on exceptional customer service and support
  • Proven experience in a B2B and B2C sales environment, with two or more years preferred
  • Product knowledge in Telecom, Managed Services, and Software Development is not required but is an asset
  • Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills in a sales focused environment
  • Agile mindset, both willing and able to adapt and pivot in a fast-paced work environment
  • Being proactive and goal-oriented
  • Being able to work independently with minimal supervision
